Thanks, Anu! I meant jealous in more of a "happy for you and looking forward to doing it too" way. :) I'll definitely get the oils kit.

In the meantime, I'm having a great time smelling my way through her perfume samples.

Hi Jessica,
Don't be jealous, you're on your way, so Give Thanks! The level 1 kit is a wonderful learning tool. I am so happy that I have that experience under my belt. It teaches you how to determine levels of intensity of scents based on how long they last on a scent strip. And it also teaches basic blending techniques.

Initially, I wasn't going to purchase Mandy's oils because I had all those oils in her kit already. But I decided to make the investment so I could compare her quality of oils with mine. That too was a great investment for me. Mandy's oils were of a different caliber and it gave me a great comparative study.

I am now doing the level 2 workbooks and the experience is definitely one you should be aiming for. It's quite an expensive venture when you couple the cost of the books with the cost of the essences that you are required to get on your own. I suggest you purchase all of required essences for this level in sample sizes.

All the best!

I hope there really IS a movement towards naturals although I'm wondering how the industry is going to develop as more and more natural ingredients are removed from the perfumer's pallette. As a person who has allergies I share IFRA's concerns, but I wonder to what degree their concerns are truly health-related (and weather those health risks are severe enough to merit the restrictions), or if their real motive is to insure that perfumer's are forced into buying the synthetic ingredients manufactured by the big houses.

Recently I was gifted with wonderful botanicals and body butters from Anu Essentials. I wasn’t familiar with the product prior to receiving it as a gift; however, since that time, I have continued to luxuriate in the softest skin I have ever been in. The body butters are non-greasy and unlike some butters that lie essentially on top of the skin – Anu Essentials body butters absorb into the skin deeply moisturizing seemingly well below the surface. Almost immediately you both feel and see your skin softening. And the most significant delight of all, are the various and sensuous healing scents that the butters come in that are infused with such wonderful natural oils as lavender and peppermint.

I love layering the butters with the soap and oils – delicious! For me, Anu Essentials have become an essential part of my daily spa treatment. I’ve tried other botanicals and skin care lines; however, Anu Essentials are now my absolute favorite – and it will become yours too – with just one smoothing on. Ahhhhhhhh! Love it!

Thank you Anu Essentials for your wonderful botanicals and essential oils that are made from natural products and keeps me ever so green!
